1. Acceptance of Terms of Service
RogueBurners.com and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, "RogueBurners.com") operate a network of websites and services (the "RogueBurners.com Network"). These Terms of Service set forth the terms and conditions that apply to your use of RogueBurners.com. From time to time, RogueBurners.com may supplement these Terms of Service with additional terms pertaining to specific content, including, but not limited to, the uploading of photographs and videos, services, products, digital products, courses or events ("Additional Terms"), which Additional Terms may be placed on RogueBurners.com to be viewed in connection with the specific content, services, products, digital products, courses or events and shall be identified as such. You understand and agree that such Additional Terms are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service. BY USING ROGUEBURNERS.COM, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE JUST AS IF YOU HAD SIGNED AN AGREEMENT WITH ROGUEBURNERS.COM. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, please discontinue your use of RogueBurners.com. RogueBurners.com is provided free of charge to you (unless otherwise indicated).
Although portions of RogueBurners.com may be viewed simply by visiting the relevant web site, in order to access the message boards and/or receive additional services from RogueBurners.com you need to sign on as a guest or register as a member of RogueBurners.com. Registering as a member will allow you to access certain services that are not available to guests. Unauthorized access, distribution, reproduction, copying, retransmission, publication, sale, exploitation (commercial or otherwise), or any other form of transfer of any portion of RogueBurners.com, including but not limited to all content, services, digital products, courses, events, tools or products is hereby expressly prohibited.
2. Registration Information/Privacy Policy
When you register for RogueBurners.com, you will be required to provide RogueBurners.com with the following information: your name, e-mail address, member name and password. In addition, you may choose to provide RogueBurners.com with additional information, including your country of origin, your gaming handle, instant messaging usernames, etc.
Any information provided by you or gathered by RogueBurners.com or third parties during any visit to RogueBurners.com shall be subject to the terms of RogueBurners.com's Privacy Policy. RogueBurners.com reserves the right to (i) terminate your membership and access to any specific content , services, digital products, products courses or events, and (ii) remove your personal RogueBurners.com profile, blog & gallery, if RogueBurners.com learns that you have provided RogueBurners.com with false or misleading registration information.
3. Termination
RogueBurners.com reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately, without notice, suspend or terminate (i) these Terms of Service; and/or (ii) your registration(s) with or ability to access RogueBurners.com and/or any other service, tool, specific content, digital products, products, courses or events provided to you by RogueBurners.com, including any personal web site, upon any breach by you of these Terms of Service or otherwise.
4. Modifications of these Terms of Service
RogueBurners.com may modify these Terms of Service from time to time in its sole discretion. Each time you use RogueBurners.com, you will be deemed to have accepted any such changes. RogueBurners.com shall have no obligation to notify you of any such changes other then posting such modifications on RogueBurners.com, but RogueBurners.com reserves the right (at RogueBurners.com's discretion) to provide you notice of such changes to any e-mail address you have provided to RogueBurners.com, or post office address you have provided to RogueBurners.com.
5. Modifications of the RogueBurners.com Interactive Community Site
RogueBurners.com may modify or discontinue RogueBurners.com, any portion thereof, or any services, tools, digital products, products, events or courses related thereto with or without notice to you and without liability to you or any third party, except as otherwise provided herein.
6. Use of the RogueBurners.com Interactive Community Site
A. Content of Messages
You alone are responsible for the content of your messages or any materials you transmit to others, and any consequences of such messages. Please carefully consider the information you choose to post on RogueBurners.com, including, but not limited to, any message board or blog or any comment, profile or email. Do not continue any conversation online that makes you feel uncomfortable. You should not include your telephone number, street address or last name on any area of RogueBurners.com that is accessible to the general public nor provide such personally identifying information to people you do not know. Do not continue any conversation online that makes you feel uncomfortable. RogueBurners.com assumes no responsibility or liability for any inaccurate, inappropriate, offensive or sexually explicit material or information, products or services you may be provided by other users of RogueBurners.com. RogueBurners.com further assumes no responsibility for the deletion of or failure to store e-mail messages.
You further agree that you will not use RogueBurners.com to send emails or instant messages or post on message boards, blogs, profiles, comments or any place on RogueBurners.com, any message or material of any kind or nature that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, profane, (unless within the scope of the topic area of a message board as determined by RogueBurners.com in its sole discretion), racially offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable material or that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation, or encourage the use of controlled substances. For purposes of the immediately preceding sentence, "masked" vulgarity, obscenity or profanity (e.g. "f*ck") is deemed to be equivalent to including the actual objectionable word, phrase or symbol in your post, message or otherwise on RogueBurners.com. RogueBurners.com reserves the right to delete any such material from RogueBurners.com. RogueBurners.com will cooperate fully with any law enforcement officials and/or agencies in the investigation of any person or persons who violate the Terms of Service contained in this Section 6.
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity, whether actual or fictitious, including impersonating an employee or consultant of RogueBurners.com. You further agree not to use an inappropriate member name of any kind.
You agree not to post or use RogueBurners.com to distribute or send any illegal material of any kind, including but not limited to, illegal material in the form of text, graphics, video, programs or audio. Posting content or participating in any form of discussion with the intention to commit any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
You acknowledge that (i) content on RogueBurners.com is protected by copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual and proprietary rights ("Rights"); (ii) these Rights are valid and protected in all media and technologies existing now or later developed; and (iii) except as explicitly provided otherwise, the Terms of Service and applicable copyright, trademark and other laws govern your use of such content. You may not post to RogueBurners.com, copy, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise transfer any material that infringes any Rights. You acknowledge that RogueBurners.com may acquire Rights to use any posted materials as described below, and that you will not acquire any of those Rights by downloading such materials.
By submitting content, which shall include your member name, to any "public area" of RogueBurners.com, including message boards, blogs, forums, contests, personal websites, public profiles, comments or chat rooms, you grant RogueBurners.com a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right (including any moral rights) and license to use, license, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, derive revenue or other remuneration from, communicate to the public, perform and display the content (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, for the full term of any Rights that may exist in such content. You also warrant that, to the extent that you are not the exclusive holder of all Rights in content you submit, the holder of any Rights, including moral rights in such content, has completely and effectively waived all such rights and validly and irrevocably granted to you the right to grant the license stated above. You also permit any user to access, display, view, store and reproduce such content that you have made public for personal use. Subject to the foregoing, the owner of such content placed on RogueBurners.com retains any and all Rights that may exist in such content.
RogueBurners.com is not obligated to review content posted by users prior to the content's posting to any area of RogueBurners.com, including any private profile. Content posted by any user to RogueBurners.com does not reflect the opinions or views of RogueBurners.com, its parent, subsidiaries or affiliates. RogueBurners.com makes no warranty, whether express or implied, as to the accuracy of any content or material that you send to other RogueBurners.com members through any RogueBurners.com service.
ANYTHING CONTAINED HEREIN TO THE CONTRARY NOTWITHSTANDING, BY SUBMITTING CONTENT TO ANY MESSAGE BOARDS, BLOG, CHATS, EXPERT AREAS, QUESTION AND ANSWER FORUMS, SWEEPSTAKES, CONTESTS OR ANY OTHER AREA ON ROGUEBURNERS.COM, YOU HEREBY EXPRESSLY PERMIT ROGUEBURNERS.COM TO IDENTIFY YOU AS THE CONTRIBUTOR OF SUCH CONTENT IN ANY PUBLICATION IN ANY FORM, MEDIA OR TECHNOLOGY NOW KNOWN OR LATER DEVELOPED IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTENT, UNLESS YOU OTHERWISE NOTIFY ROGUEBURNERS.COM'S LEGAL DEPARTMENT IN WRITING AT THE TIME YOU SUBMIT THE CONTENT THAT YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE IDENTIFIED.
B. Non Commercial Use
RogueBurners.com, its products, services, digital products, events, courses, social networking tools (as more fully described below) and any other element of RogueBurners.com are only for the personal use of visitors and members and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or pre-approved by RogueBurners.com in writing. Illegal and/or unauthorized use of RogueBurners.com, or any portion thereof, including, but not limited to, collecting user names and/or email addresses of members by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorized framing of or linking to RogueBurners.com is prohibited. In furtherance thereof, you agree that you will not use RogueBurners.com for chain letters, research study or survey solicitations, junk mail, "spamming," commercial or non-commercial solicitations, or bulk communications of any kind, including but not limited to distribution lists to any person who has not given specific permission to be included in such list
Rogue Burners General Information
What is RogueBurners.com?
RogueBurners.com is a social video game website centered around console gaming. We have heavy roots in the Burnout video game series by Criterion Games. Especially in the game Burnout Paradise. Rogue Burners was formed in June 2009 after the continued deterioration (in both member-generated content and in severe virus/malware exploits) of a popular Burnout fansite. Approximately 10 members donated money to cover start-up and software costs and we were supported by the immediate support of approximately 40 members defecting from the aforementioned fansite.

Rogue Burners Site Rules
Rules? Rogues have rules?
Indeed we do. While we are a relaxed environment, we must have certain guidelines in place to unsure we continue to stay that way. Please observe the following Site Rules:
Accounts
You are responsible for the content posted using your account on the Rogue Burners forums. Please do not allow other people to use your account. Punishment leniency for rule violations made when "your little brother broke into your room" will not be taken into consideration. Your account is your responsibility. Do not create additional accounts if you have forgotten your password. Instead use the "I've forgotten my password" link at the sign-in screen. Accounts created for sole purpose of avoiding suspension will be banned and the suspension for the violating member's main account will be extended.
Post Quality
Rogues are surprisingly a literate bunch. We do not take kindly to posts written in txt/IM/chat/h4xr/welsh language. If you cannot take the extra time to properly type out what you're trying to communicate, why should we take the time to lower our brain functions to interpret your post? Please try to use correct spelling and proper punctuation as best you can. We do understand that English is not the first language of some of our members, and of course there will be exceptions to how much this rule is enforced in certain situations. Please do not post in all capital letters and do not use excessive punctuation (!!!!!!!!!!!). Do not double post to add information to a post you've just submitted, instead edit the post. Do not double post to reply to different members in the same thread, please use the 
function instead.
Warez/Piracy
We are not here to judge you, but the Rogue Burners forums are not the place to discuss things such as illegal torrents, serial number/keygens/cracks, links to copyrighted audio/video files, etc.
Spam
Spam is nonsense. Rogues have a special place in their hearts for the nonsensical... and a special place in their forums as well. That place is our Rogue Spammer section. You may spam until your fingers bleed. Any content that is prohibited (such as adult content, piracy (except for the patch & parrot kind), discrimination, flaming, console/system/os wars, referral links, etc) is still prohibited in Rogue Spammer. Outside of the Rogue Spammer forum, creating threads that are off topic or posts with no relation to the current thread will not be tolerated. Threads created for the sole purpose of annoying other users or increasing a member’s post count will also be considered spamming.
Discrimination
Rogues discriminate against those of lower intelligence, but we never discriminate against gender, sexual preference, religion or nation of origin. The use of derogatory terms which violate the rules against discrimination will not be tolerated.
Adult Content
Explicit content such as death photos, vulgar and disturbing images, nude images or links to pornographic websites is forbidden. Most of the contributing members of Rogue Burners are adults, but the content posted should be suitable for those members as young as 13. Excessive swearing is not encouraged and your post will be edited for content if the moderators or administrators of this site feel that any language you've used has crossed a moral line. Threads that do not necessarily violate the Adult Content Guidelines, but may be considered "risque", should be clearly marked in the thread title with NSFW (not safe for work).
Forum Etiquette
Flaming is prohibited at Rogue Burners. We will not tolerate hostile behavior towards another member. Please do not attempt to intervene if you witness a flame war in progress or if you are being targeted personally. Instead, please be the bigger individual and use the 
button and a moderator or administrator will take care of the situation. We look to our community to lead by example. If you are a veteran member here, please act like one. Use this opportunity to teach and guide newer members instead of attacking them. Answering someone's question by telling them to use the search function isn't very helpful, and if the person isn't familiar with the forum software, not very useful. If you know the answer, please share it. Also be aware that there is always new information coming out and sometimes things may get repeated once in a while.
Advertising
Please do not create topics advertising your website. We have created a thread called Website Advertising Thread for our members to share their personal websites. Advertising your website in your signature is also allowed. The advertisement of websites which contain content that violate any of the forum rules is not allowed.
Hotlinking
Please be advised that hotlinking images can result in an image being posted that you had not intended. For instance, if someone hotlinks a picture from Rogue Burners on another site, this image will be displayed instead. It is recommended that you either host the image yourself (photobucket, flickr, etc.) or save the file to your hard drive and use the upload utility in the forums.
Display Name / PSN / XBL Impersonation and Abuse
Pretending to be someone you're not by abusing the "Display Name" feature or by entering false "PSN" & "XBL" ID field information will not be tolerated. Harassment by changing your "Display Name" to a derogatory version of another person's "Display Name" or persona will not be tolerated. Console bashing will not be tolerated in any of the display name, PSN, XBL or any other field.
